I am enough
You are enough simply because you are a child of God. When someone or something has you feeling like you aren’t or like you need to be someone else remember that you are a child of the most High. He made you special, there is no one on earth like you and your ideas, goals and entrepreneurial endeavors speak to that. Your voice and gifts are needed in this world. You are enough.
Galatians 3:26 – For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.
I am an ethical business woman
Righteousness is something that we should all strive for and seek. God described Abraham as righteous because he had faith and trust in Him. He was obedient to our father and had faith that he knew best. Isaiah 33:15, tells us that a righteous woman speaks uprightly, does not gossip or accept bribes, she is an ethical person. When must also walk in this faith daily and seek His righteousness.
Psalm 106:3 Blessed are they who observe justice, who do righteousness at all times!
I Am a godly woman
Before we are entrepreneurs, business women, mothers or wives we are women of God. This ultimately means that we are becoming like Christ daily, spreading His word and acting righteously.
Proverbs 31:30 – Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
God is my provider
We are told in Matthew to seek His Kingdom first and we will be provided with clothes, food and shelter. All that a woman could ask. Our father takes care of us! Now, notice He didn’t say that provision would include a Mercedes Benz, a pool for your house or a closet full of shoes. Those are definitely great perks, but no matter what we can be sure that He will provide the basics for us to get by in this life.
Matthew 6:31-33 – Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
I walk by faith
Sometimes walking by faith is the most difficult thing to do in life. This is especially true when we fall on hard times or feel that the wold is against us. But even if the world is against us, God is still for us and working things out for our ultimate good. When we lean on God in hard and good times, we learn that He is truly a father that has our backs and that is something to be grateful for!
Romans 10:17 – So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
I seek God first
Even as successful entrepreneurs and business women our plans are not our own. God has a purpose for our lives and our businesses so we must work unto Him. Seeking Him first is a large part of putting God first in our businesses, but we must also follow through with what He asks of us.
Proverbs 16:3 – Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established
I am successful in God’s eyes
Success can be measured in various ways by many people, but as christians our success is measured by godly standards. When reading your bible make sure you keep track of what success looks like to God and focus on that, not what the world says success is. Many times, we will be blessed with things of the world like money, cars and other material objects, but success is ultimately keeping our focus on God and not things.
Psalm 37:4 – Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart
I Am KINGDOM MINDED
The bible tells us that we are not to love this world nor are we to have two masters. We must choose, this world or God. The love of money and material objects are what sent the rich young ruler away sad! It is so easy to get caught up in things of the world and it is our job is to make sure we are not choosing this world over our God daily. Our focus is on eternity, not things of the now.
1 John 2:15 – Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the father is not in him.
I have abundant joy
Jesus said that He came that we may have life and as children of God we will ultimately have eternal life! But while we are here, we are to have a joy that can not be understood with a worldly human understanding. Even in times of trial or tribulations, we are to count it all joy because ultimately that moves us closer to perfection and Christ-likeness. Our joy is knowing we are becoming the people God want us to become and that we will get to spend eternity with Him. This joy will not always come with happy chapters, but it will have a happy ending.
Romans 15:13 – May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
My worth is not external
We’ve all had times in our lives where we’re scrolling on a social media site and come across someone with our dream home, body or hair. At times seeing others have the things we want most can cause some internal insecurities, but we have to remember that our worth and happiness don’t come from anything external. As children of God we know that our worth comes from the fact that we were special enough to be created by our Father and He loves everything about us and you should too!
John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
