As Christian bloggers, we write from a different perspective regardless of the blog topic. Deciding on Christian books for guidance is critical as we must always keep in mind what God wants from our writing even if we are blogging about baking banana bread or how to ride motorcycles.
In a world where money is king, we must remember that God is our King of Kings and never stray far from our Christian roots with what we put into the world. As writers whose blogs may reach millions of people one day, we have a mission to spread the gospel and make God proud.
These books received great reviews on Amazon (which I’ve included) and the majority of them have a Christian blogger focus so include them in your 2022 reading list.
Let us know if there are other Christian books that you would include in the list.

3. Abounding in Kindness: Writing for the People of God (christian book)
Elizabeth Johnson is widely regarded as among the most influential and creative Catholic theologians in the world particularly for her contributions in bringing a feminist perspective to the central themes of Christian faith. Among her books are path-breaking works on God, Jesus, the church, Mary, and the communion of saints. In many cases, she has also treated these themes in essays and lectures addressed to the wider “people of God.” This volume is the first collection of these writings. It offers an overview of her essential work, but at the same time, given the range of her concerns, a brilliantly fresh exploration of the Christian faith.
4. How to Use Scripture in Your Writing: A Quick Guide to Documenting and Writing with Scripture (christian book)
How to use scripture in your writing is one of the more technical Christian books the perfect guide for writers who need an easy citation style for documenting Scripture in their manuscripts. Focusing on all aspects of AP style documenting, this guide gives writers guidelines and examples for parenthetical documentation; handling epigraphs and long quotations; where to put all those parentheses, commas, quotation marks, and periods; and much more. Writers will have the tools they need to present a professional manuscript with Scripture references handled correctly. In addition, author Melanie Chitwood gives you added guidelines for using Scripture-related words, copyright statements you can copy and paste, and writing style guidelines for using Scripture. This is a reference book you’ll return to again and again.
6. You’ve Got This (Because God’s Got You): 52 Devotions to Uplift and Encourage (christian book)
As bloggers, it’s easy to get burned out and discouraged at the lack of growth. Many bloggers give up within the first two years of blogging, but this book will give you the encouragement you need when you feel like quitting. You’ve got this―because God’s got you. Straight from the heart of popular Thistlewood Farms blogger KariAnne Wood comes this beautiful, pocket-sized, 52-day devotional. Full of warmth and encouragement, each reading holds Scriptural reflections, personal stories, and prayers to remind us that God is always by our side. He loves us when we feel unlovable. He lifts us up and gives us a peace that passes all understanding. And in the midnight of every dark moment, he is there.
7. Prayers for Writers: A Handbook of Praying for Your Writing Life (christian book)
Before you write a single word as a Christian blogger, whisper a prayer to God. Pour out your heart. Confess your writing struggles. Strive for excellence. Submit your work to God. This book will help you articulate prayers to help you in each of these areas. Written by writers for writers, these prayers will help you focus your mind properly each time you sit down to write. If you are called to write, write as unto the Lord. To help you develop your own prayers, we’ve included prompts so you can journal your specific needs and heart cries. This book is a labor of love, offered to those who wish to write for the glory of God, whether fiction or nonfiction. We hope it unites all the solitary writers around the world through prayer by praying for the same things for our writing.

This a great list! As a Christian blogger myself I will definitely be checking these out. Thank you.
Awesome! Let me know what you think
Thanks for sharing this list and I really needed to get my hands on new books! These are really the best Christian books out there that we should be reading. I’d like to add the ones by Keion Henderson https://www.keionhenderson.com/books/ who is a personal favorite of mine. It is really important for us Christians to be reading such books instead of really spending so much time reading false stuff on social media!
Thanks so much for the suggestion!
